villain
I would personally describe Syndrome as a sociopath who has no value for human life; therefore, he is a villain. In the movie Syndrome’s plan is to take out all the super heroes so he can be the only one; he does this to get revenge on his arch-nemesis, Mr. Incredible. You later find out that Syndrome was responsible for several disappearances of super heroes disguised as everyday people. He soon finds Mr. Incredible and lures him into a trap to destroy him. The Parr family (the Incredible family’s secret identity) soon notices their dad’s absence. Helen Parr uses a tracking device in her husband’s suit to find his location. When Syndrome discovers that Mr. Incredible’s family is coming to his island; he immediately fires missiles at their jet, even with the knowledge of there being children on board. Clearly, Syndrome has no value for human, not even a child’s. Toward the end of the movie when everything seems resolved, Syndrome comes back and tries to kidnap the youngest of the Parr family (Jack Parr). He plans to kidnap their son and raise him as his sidekick. What happened after isn’t really important, but it ends with the Parr’s getting their son back and Syndrome’s demise. We all remember The Incredibles from our childhood and the villain, Syndrome, whose weird hairstyle would haunt our nightmares for the next year or so. In the end I think children and adults can conclude that Syndrome is one bad guy.
